I’ll be the first to review I like it but personally aint my style don’t like the drums to much but over all it’s a great beat beat good job
Wow man I just noticed $1,500 thats a pretty high price for this beat It’s your beat and only you can say how much your time is worth you must of put a lot of work into this but I think you got beats on here for $500 that are better then this so I’m just wondering why you want so much for this beat
All a matter of opinion homie
I’ve sold beats for more than $1500 that I thought wouldn’t even fetch a few hundred and vice versa. I guess this is more of a singer’s beat, that’s why I’m feelin it so much.
The price will come down eventually, I put $1500 as a place holder, I’m tossing this beat in my off-line shopping pile because I came up with some crazy hooks for it, so I didn’t want to set the price at $500 and someone grab it before I had a chance to sell it offline.
I vibe most with the wah-wah riff and the mixed percussion. The bass you chose is tweaked interestingly, but I like’er. This is definitely Chris Brown mainstream, I’d luv to hear a proper vocalist/singer lace this one up. Tracks like this aren’t my preference, but I can still rock my head to the beat and appreciate the quality of good music. You’re very versatile with your style, and I give you madd props for that. Good shizz.
Appreciate it D. I was a little hesitant about that bass myself, still not sure I like that edgy synth bass sound I used, I’ve got a deep sine bass that comes in underneath it throughout the loop but if I bring it up too much it clashes with the 808’s.
I’m never 100% satisfied with a beat though so if I let myself I would spend a week on one beat and never get shit done.
Heh, I completely feel you. I’m never satisfied with my vocals after I lace a track. I sit back and listen, thinking, “Wow, why did I spit it like that when I know I can do so much better?”. But instead of redoing it I get to work on a new one, thinking, “This one is gonna be better then the last”… Or else I’d never get shit done either.
I’m the same way…One day I drop a melody thinking that it’s hot, then the next day I’m like “I should have dropped it this way”.
As for my review…the beat is not my cup o’ tea, but it does sound full. I’m still waiting on that East Coast Anthem beat…
ey Sho down man…u r pure class bro..do u think u cud help me out mayb??wat equip n softwares do u use man..i make beatz too bt man,i need divine intervention to b like you..big upzz..to ol yo traks,i like rnb but hw can i possibly make hot 1s llike yours??
Might be waiting a while illbino, Eastcoast anthems aren’t MY cup o’ tea lol. I’ll see what I can cook up though, it’s just every time I sit at the board with an idea it usually turns into a completely different beat.
chiip, I use my Korg Triton as a midi controller and for sounds I’m using all VST software. FL Studio 8 for sequencing and the VST’s I use are Nexus (and some of the expansions), Hypersonic 2, FM 8, and Albino 3.
After years of listening to Sho-Down’s music, “Take U Away” is one of the most original beats I’ve heard him release thus far. The structure of the beat, its drum pattern, the feeling it invokes, and melodies are top notch. Listen to the beat, break it down, and you’ll then see how much effort, talent, and thought went into making this track. I know a lot of you, myself included love the club bangers and street anthems, but THIS is the kind of beat that will get Sho-Down into the limelight. THESE are the kinds of tracks where Sho shines the most. Deep down inside, I can’t wait till the day comes when Sho is on MTV talking about the latest single he’s produced. I just hope when that day comes, this site will still be here.
Sho- I know you have a lot more beats in your offline shopping pile that are no less than incredible, so I just want to thank you for releasing this beat to the RockItPro.com community. This is amazing piece of work!
Appreciate it Niko, much love homie!
I made a Spanish song with this beat…
Now all i have to do is buy Leasing rights … lol
