Niko what happened with interscope and sho-down as you where sayin that u personally promoted him to Steve Berman, waht came out of that, we all know how musically gifted Sho is, so the curiosity is natural. Sho-D has any major recording artist or label bought any of ur beats? Whats the story behind your music, I’m sure many fans want to know more background info on ur carreer and collabs. We all love music history and ur’s must have interesting foundations.

You’d have to ask Sho if anything came out of it. It was a few years back. Basically I got invited to tour the offices of Interscope, so while I was there I promoted Sho as much as I could. Got to meet Steve Berman and left him with a URL to the site. Crazy guy, though. It’s true, he yells at everyone.
I am asking Sho-Down directly about his background with music and how it all started, note that there is no about us in this site. I am sure every fan of your musical patterns would like to know about your roots and history and everything related.???????????
Ok and Steve Berman is a Diva, but he does’nt make music, he is a boring guy with big ego and power in the music biz, just another lil’napoleon. I just want to know some history of Sho-down and rockit pro productions in general. That is important to me because i am interested in being a customer. Sho-Down could you please elaborate a detailed about us (rockit/sho) history.
Thank’s
I’ve sold beats to majors before but the tracks never released or something always fell through, I’ve been close to being on some major releases but again…they fell through.
But I honestly don’t push my work that much and try to get placements or get “big and famous,” it’d be nice but it’s not my ultimate goal in life, I make music because it’s what I do and what I’ve been doing basically my whole life, I’ve always been around it.
But I’ve got a couple of guys that shop my beats around the industry, we’re trying to get some things going, got a couple opportunities lined up, if it happens it happens, if not then I’ll still be here making music
As for Rock It history…well I’ll have to type that up another day cause it’s 7:30 AM and I still haven’t slept lol
Being that I want to be a steady rock-it customer and there bieng no About Us(the company) page, I find it equally interesting, the story of how u began this business and also who taught you (mentors) to play music (what instruments u play, education, etc..)
Again the reason I ask is cause I genuinly love ur musical scores and I would like to become a customer but not without knowing more about the source. Thanks for your answers and great times comes to those who work hard, have talent and are patient, you seem to have these…
Sho-Down could you please elaborate on the rockitpro and sho-down history, how it all came to be. There are many interested parties, we have been trying to find an about us page in ur site but to no avail, there is simply no history.???
Thanks again for all information sent.

Here’s the bio that was on my old website, written in like 2003 I think, it’s a little something.
http://www.rockitpro.com/RIP-BIO.txt
As far as education; I had 3-4 years of piano lessons starting at age 7, so I can read and write music to a certain point, I play by ear now though. Took a couple years of saxophone, no idea why, I think I was Kenny G fan lol. I’ve always been around music though, my dad sang and wrote a little, I sang in church as a kid, wrote my first song on the guitar when I was 6 (I was positive it was going to be a hit record), and I wrote and produced my first R&B album when I was 14 which went internet platinum with sales of 600+
As for my company Rock It Productions, I’d always wanted to make “background music” but never knew how to get into it, Bone Thugs was a huge inspiration to me back then and influenced the dark style I still have, all I needed was something to make beats with. Then ‘Fruity Loops’ came out and I started making beats with it for myself and the netcees, this was back in the 90’s, AOL days, text crews, etc. So I played around with FL for a year and then moved up to the Korg Triton keyboard and gradually added new gear to my collection as I sold beats and made money. Mp3.com launched and they paid artists/producers when your music was played and downloaded, I signed up in 2000 and basically dominated the place; me, Deeper Era, and the techno guys. I pulled in millions of downloads so that’s really what started it all and how the RIP fan base began. After that it’s just what it is, moved over to soundclick, then started my RockItProductions.net website, then I started this RockItPro.com website.
