How do I figure out the tempo of a commercially downloaded beat or song. I want to make my own version =]

There's a program called MixMeister BPM Analyzer
There's this website: http://www.bpmdatabase.com/

or you can Google “song name bpm” and it usually pops up.

If I can't find the bpm then I'll just make a simple drum pattern and play it over the original song until I find the tempo.
