Im having a tempo issue with Cool Edit Pro. When I go to Edit tempo to dial in the tempo of the track it actually changes the tempo of the waves. Before I could just type in the tempo and everything would line up and looping was a breeze. Now I cant loop at all because when i try to dial in the correct tempo the tempo of the wave files actually changes.
Anyone know why? Im thinking it has to be some kind of setting or something. Just can’t figure it out.
Before it would allow me to set the tempo so that all the beats would line up 1234 and looping was a breeze. Now when i try to set the tempo it actually changes the tempo of the loops.
I really dont get it. 1 day I can set the tempo now when i try it actually changes it instead of setting it.
Ok I tried it out, I opened a .ses and in Multitrack View I edited the tempo and it changed the tempo of all the .wav files in the session, then I tried it in Edit View but it didn’t do anything. So I dunno
It never did this before either. So how am i supposed to loop now ? I guess jut loop duplicate no spaces and remove.
Im so confused. Did adobe hange something? It NEVER did this before, all it was used to do was put in the BPM, not change them. Same deal on the right hand corner.
Looks like Adobe maybe did some hacking of their own?
Also if u dial it in in edit wave view, then go back to multitrack view, the bpm dialed in will actually be the same as it was before u changed it in edit wave view
If you’ve got Fruity Loops you can set the tempo in FL, then make a loop, then export that loop and open it in cool edit and then loop the other parts so they line up with the FL part.
