How ? lol. do you use alot of different effects and layer different samples. The drums on 'Stickup' are sick! sounds like you got about 3 or 4 differnt kicks or layering 808 drums/bass over them. What do effects do you normally use on your drums ?

Just layering, finding the right kicks/snare that sound good together. I don't EQ anything, only thing I do is run the final mix through Waves L2.

Yea 99% of the drums I use are from my drum kit, sometimes I'll find a random kick or snare on my hard drive I use to layer but my drums mostly come from the kit.

hey watsup sho i think i know why some people can't have the great quality you have: i read that a good audio interface makes great difference cause the one that most pc got aren't realy good

anyway i think even with just a keyboard, a good (or average for me lol) pc and lots of good vst and plugin, you can do great thing! Surprised

Sho uses the delta 44 soundcard. Its true audio interface will make your kicks sounds more crisp when you mix down. $200 investment get one.
