i kno u dont sample that much but when u do….have u ever kame across one that was diff in each parts, like each part u chopped were diff BPM…kuz i am a sampler…and ive never had this prollem matchin up diff parts…but this one sample is givin be PROLLEMS lol and im goin nuckin futz…so i was wonderin how do u change the BPM of a sample in Cool Edit…and kan u?…and how do i get em both to match up?…hit me back when u get a chance…
Yea that’s one of the reasons I hate sampling, you get a song that has different tempos and it’s just a pain in the ass (and boring) sitting there trying to find the tempo and matching everything up.
Only way I know how to change the tempo in Cool Edit is by stretching, EFFECTS>TIME/PITCH>STRETCH
Bad thing about doing that is it can mess up the quality sometimes if you slow/speed it up too much. Play around with it though, see how it works.
