yo im 15 and ive been working on a mix tape. i gota cheep ass mike and a computer. its hard to drop some dope tracks with no good equipment. any tips for a white kid in idaho trying to go big?

i live by the saying: its takes money to make money so i put money into my craft so i can make my music sound good..

u can make decent sounding songs wit a 50 dollar usb mic, sum ipod headphones, computer speakers and and free recording program but its not gonna take u very far ya kno..if u truly believe in u then u would be willing to invest some money into urself..seein az to how ur only 15, u prolly dont got a hustle or a job so my best advice to u would be make a christmas and birthday list..real talk..hope this helps

Usb condenser mic - prices vary but a good cheap one ranges from $70-$150

good size head phones - ranges from $25-$99

a good software (examples: Adobe Audition 1.5, Pro Tools.)

and a nice or half decent computer…
