Dead how?

Traffic and sales have increased and membership is @ 25,000 and growing. The forums have always been dead and 5-10 comments per beat is about right, Beautiful Sorrow got 25+

I understand the site won't be as active if I don't post beats all the time and get members involved with contests, 'artist spotlights', etc. I just don't have the time right now, I plan on making some changes in 2010 tho.

i will say this in refrence to stoping the free beats, some of us are struggling and workin just to make ends meet.  so for me personally to have a place where i can go and grab a beat that i can use in a demo really helps me alot.  i know i can't sell it or flip it for a profit, but it's nice to be able to put it on my myspace where people can listen to it and give me feedback on how i'm doing.
